Kid Icarus: Uprising

by Gennadiy April 2nd, 2012 | Game of the Month
Share

The third installment in the Kid Icarus series does not disappoint.

Manufactured for Nintendo 3DS, Uprising literally “pits” darkness and light. The angelic hero, Pit, must fight against the dreaded Medusa and her Underworld Army in both ground and air battles for control of the land. Gorgeous renderings of the characters are enough to draw both single and multiple players in, but the imaginative weapons and vehicles keep those same players playing for hours. Most memorable about this game are the AR Idol cards where you can scan your favorite characters and watch them come to life right before your eyes. Put two cards together and watch the battle begin. You can share, trade, and collect the cards for more fun! For its amazing graphics, its awesome storyline, and its AR Idol cards, this game deserves its place as Wasabi Media’s Game of the Month for April.
