Released on October 18, 2011, Batman: Arkham City just might be the best sequel ever produced. It received top ratings on just about every major gaming web site, achieving an impressive aggregate score of 96/100 on Metacritic.
Arkham City is a sequel to Arkham Asylum, which was based on the DC Comics superhero Batman. It does everything that Asylum did right, and then some. Gotham City is back, but with richer detail than ever. It’s not huge, but it more than makes up for that with its superb atmosphere. You play as Batman, who works to bring order to this

L.A. Noire
by Mackenzie M. January 4th, 2012 | Game Reviews, PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox
Looking back on 2011, a few spectacular video games stick out. Developed by Team Bondi and published by Rockstar Games, L.A. Noire’s debut for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows in 2011 solidified the new era in video games, the era of reality.
The film noir style that the game is modeled after also takes it to new frontier. This style harkens back to the days of back and white films, and follows dark themes such as crime, sex, gambling, and moral ambiguity. L.A. Noire is set in post-WWII Los Angeles in the year 1947. The Elder Scrolls
by Louise November 9th, 2011 | Game Reviews, PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox
The Elder Scrolls (TES) is an RPG series developed by Bethesda Game Studios (the same producers of Brink).
The first product in the series was TES: Arena, released for DOS PC systems in 1992. It was intended for players to take on the role of an arena combatant, but the development eventually shifted the game into an RPG, and the rest of the series followed suit. The TES series is open-world; players can do what they want, whenever they want.
Arena achieved moderate enough success to encourage a continuation in the series. In 1996, Bethesda launched TES II: Daggerfall. It features
