by Mackenzie M. February 1st, 2012 | Game Reviews, Gaming System, Nintendo DS, Online, Xbox
We often review dark, scary, and complicated games on our site, but for this week I wanted to focus on a genre of games that is light, happy, and colorful. Many lists have come out for the best video games for kids that are available this year, and I have compiled the best of the best. Kids of this generation will be playing video games from extremely young ages, so it is important they are playing games that are stimulating, educational, colorful, and overall conducive to brain development. by T Akery January 30th, 2012 | Game Reviews, Online
Fiona Finch and the Finest Flowers is an online time management game that brings a touch of spring during the winter months. The object is to grow flowers and sell them for a profit; however, the game has so much more than just growing flowers.

All four main games, in addition to tangent games and other media, were developed and produced by Ubisoft.

The Assassin's Creed series falls under the gaming category of "historical science fiction action adventure." All of

Bastion

by Mackenzie M. December 2nd, 2011 | Game Reviews, Online, PC
Bastion is another one of those great video games that has appeared on many of the top video game lists of the year. Released for Xbox 360 in July, and for the PC in August, this action role-playing game is based on the gorgeous art of anime, and its narrative style is a powerful voice-over. With a concise story line, great graphics, and entertaining game play, after a few levels, you will find it as no surprise that Bastion is one of the highest acclaimed games of 2011.

Like many action games, Bastion is set in the aftermath of the
