New Super Mario Bros. Wii

by Louise November 30th, 2009 | Game Reviews, Wii
It is finally here, the New Super Mario Bros. for the Wii. We knew it was coming; after all, how could Nintendo possibly resist bringing this game to the Wii? Fortunately for Mario fans, Nintendo brought this game to users as a mixture of the greatest aspects of the games from the past, adding in some new features that will surprise and thrill new and old players alike.

The major new feature in this New Super Mario Bros. Wii is its multi-player mode. It is the first game since Mario Bros. (published over two decades ago) to allow simultaneous play. The

Sims 3

by Anna P. November 26th, 2009 | Game Reviews, Nintendo DS, PC, PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox
The Sims 3 is still a fairly new game, as it came out earlier this summer. If you’ve played with previous versions of The Sims (the original and Sims 2), then you know that this is not your ordinary computer game. Somewhat like a virtual world, all Sims games are based upon controlling the lives of created characters in various towns. This is an easy game to play since its not really a game at all. That means it reportedly has earned more money than any movie, album, or other game ever. The expected half-a-billion dollar intake in the first week does not by any means seem out of reach, with sales in the US and

by Bea November 12th, 2009 | Console Games, Gaming System
Having now played all three versions of Nintendo's Super Smash Bros I can say that I fully enjoy playing the oldest version the most out of the three in current existence. Despite all of the new areas, moves, items, characters, and more available in the new versions of the game, there is just something about the old graphics and moves that take me back to the good ol' days. And let us face it, who doesn't use the old levels in the new Brawl game anyway? For the current college crowd, thinking about those days of playing N64 sometimes is even

Ready To Drop?!

by Jacob P. November 2nd, 2009 | Console Games, Game Reviews, Online
As you (hopefully) know, Halo 3: ODST was release on September 22.  As a true and loyal Halo fan, I ventured into Best Buy and bought it.

Well, Halo 3: ODST rocked my world!  I thought it was very well crafted and had fluid gameplay.  First of all, I was amazed about how they managed to turn what was supposed to be an add-on pack into a separate game!  Instead of two hours of play time, you get at least six hours!  You also get firefight mode and the mythic disk, which rule!

Halo 3: ODST requires more thinking and strategy than
