It seems every time either Electronic Arts Studios or Activision (publishers of Rock Band and Guitar Hero, respectively) come out with an awesome addition to their list of music video games, the other releases a superb new game to match it. Guitar Hero 5, released on September 1, 2009, was followed shortly after by The Beatles: Rock Band, released on the ninth. Wii Sports Resort

This past weekend I got a chance to try out Wii Sports Resort, and it certainly exceeded my expectations. I was pleasantly thrilled by the improvements over the Wii Sports package released in 2007. The new Wii MotionPlus accessory attaches easily to a plain Wii Remote controller and immensely improves the accuracy of the game-play movements that mimic one who is playing. I definitely was impressed by this feature, which seems to perform flawlessly.
