New XBE Is Totally Worth It

On November 4th, I talked about a completely new Xbox update that was being released, which would give the Xbox a full experience overhaul both in appearance and functionality.  The release of the update, November 19th, has come and gone and finally brought some new features to the Xbox, some awesome and some not so much.

 You just got home from the local game store where you picked up your new game you’ve been waiting forever for (literally, with the production date changes and many delays). Rock Band Two!

My dorm just got Rock Band Two a few weeks ago. The software/hardware bundle for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 versions of the game came out on October 19th, 2008. If you are wondering, the game will come out for the Wii, I couldn't tell you when. All of the sources that I have looked into report different days, but at least one thing is consistent-- it should be coming out in December!

No, the title does not refer to a new version of the console that is being released...


On November 19th the XBOX 360 will get a completely new interface overhaul. Microsoft is calling the update “the new XBOX experience”. They reveal that the XBOX blade “dashboard” will be completely revamped and have many new features, but what exactly is being changed?
