Civilization Revolution

by C Zuver July 30th, 2008 | Game Reviews

If you haven’t played a Civilization game, then…you’re perfectly normal. Yet, five years from now, you will probably be in a minority. Civilization Revolution was released on July 8th for the PS3, XBOX 360, and DS, which marks its first departure from the PC. Strictly console gamers soon will be part of its sphere of influence.

Imagine a meeting between Warcraft II and Sim City 3000. Subtract the annoying ogre voices and constant fund problems, and Sid Meyer’s Civilization will be staring you in the

Chrono Trigger…Again

by Michele July 22nd, 2008 | Game Reviews, RPG

For most Chrono fans, the only news that’s good news is a sequel to Chrono Cross. I must say that I’m sorry to disappoint all of the cosplayers out there with blue hair dye, but maybe this can be something to hold them over: On July 2nd, Square Enix announced plans to put out a remake of Chrono Trigger for the Nintendo DS, one of the most celebrated RPGs of all time.

Now a bit about the game... Army of Two has an excellent story line. You begin as US Army Rangers, but after a botched mission you join the mercenary group SSC with your commanding officer, Lieutenant Colonel Richard Dalton. You and

Rock Band

by Bea July 8th, 2008 | Game Reviews, PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox
I love playing Guitar Hero. I usually don't play against other people, but rather with other people. For instance, I may play the bass while the other person plays the guitar. Just recently I had the opportunity to play Rock Band. Let me start off by saying that it is my new favorite video game!

With the choice of guitar, bass, drums, or singing, there is something for everyone. You don't have to be good to play; it's all for fun! I tried each of the instruments and the vocals, and the drums were my favorite. At first it
