Mario Kart Wii!

I always have loved to play Nintendo's racing game Mario Kart. I started playing with the Nintendo 64 version, and I always was sad when I had to leave my friend's house because we didn't own a Nintendo 64. Then, when my family bought a GameCube, I conquered the Double Dash version. However, for some reason I've always held a love for the older version of the game, its levels, and how you can turn into a bomb during the battle mode of the game.

However, on April 27th, 2008, Mario Kart for the Wii was released in North America!

Neopets is a free online game and activity site that I've been using on-and-off for the past 6 years. The site is great, especially for kids. You start off by making an account with your very own "neopet". Then, this pet can be dressed up, played with, given a petpet, fed and even used for battle. You might be thinking, "I'm not interested in having to take care of a virtual pet, what if it dies?" You don't have to worry, neopets don't die, but it can be fun for a kid to have responsibilities.
